- Editor's Notes
- "Nearly two weeks have passed since the last promise of Mr. Upton to hand me the certificate of stock. ### He told me it needs only the signagure of Mr. Edison. ### It is otherwise ready for delivery. It seems strange that so long a time has passed some two months since I first asked for the certificate and yet it is not ready. ### Ordinarily a person can have a transfer made in one day; here 60 days have passed and no transfer. Strange, isn't it? ### Will you kindly give the matter your attention and let us know when I shall get the certificate or when it will be ready for delivery?" Yours truly, John W. Lawson
