"Annual Report of the Edison Machine Works. ### We Thomas A. Edison, Prsident and Tjhomas A. Edison, Samuel Insull, Charles Batchelor, Harry N, Livor, being a majority of the trustees of the Edison Machine Works do hereby certify: ### 1. That the capital stock of the said Edison Machine works is seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars. ### 2. That the amount actually paid in is seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars. ### 3. That the whole of said capital stock was issued at par for the purchase of property necessary for the businesses of the company. ### 4. That the amount of existing debts does not exceed the sum of five hundred and sixty-two dollars. ### Dated January 16th, 1888. ### Thomas A. Edison, President, ### Thomas A. Edison, Trustee, ### Samuel Insull, Trustee ### Chas. Batchelor, Trustee, ### Harry M. Livor, Trustee. ### State of New York, : ### : ss.: ### City and County of New York.: ### Joseph Hutchinson, being duly sworn and desposes and says that Thoms A. Edison is the President and Thomas A. Edison, Samuel Insull, Charles Batchelor and Harry M. Livor are the trustees of the said Edison Machine Works and a majority thereof; that this deponent is the Secretary of the said Edison Machine Works and that the foregoing report is true to the best of his knowledge, information and belief."
