Abstract

"Annual Report of the Edison Machine Works. ### We Thomas A. Edison, Prsident and Tjhomas A. Edison, Samuel Insull, Charles Batchelor, Harry N, Livor, being a majority of the trustees of the Edison Machine Works do hereby certify: ### 1. That the capital stock of the said Edison Machine works is seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars. ### 2. That the amount actually paid in is seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars. ### 3. That the whole of said capital stock was issued at par for the purchase of property necessary for the businesses of the company. ### 4. That the amount of existing debts does not exceed the sum of five hundred and sixty-two dollars. ### Dated January 16th, 1888. ### Thomas A. Edison, President, ### Thomas A. Edison, Samuel Insull, Charles Batchelor and Harry M. Livor are the trustees of the said Edison Machine Works and a majority thereof; that this deponent is the Secretary of the said Edison Machine Works and that the foregoing report is true to the best of his knowledge, information and belief."
