- Editor's Notes
- "Referring to the enclosed letter from Tate, we have requested him to ship up all the material he has finished and we will then decide what we are going to do about carrying on the paper making at Menlo Park. ### The sample of paper which you enclose in your letter, and which we return herewith is too thin. There is not enough strength to it. To think we will have to use Bond paper right along. The paper which has recently come from menlo Park is in very good condition. We think it is owing to the fact of the soapstone. ### I presume that you have sent the Chalk and Camels Hair brush [Marginalia: shippped Squire] which Tait asks for in his letter." Yours very truly, Saml Insull [Marginalia: "O.K."]
