- "We shipped yesterday by Express prepaid, to the Laboratory, Four Cases consisting of One small case of Tubes, one table for same, and one small Dynamo Machine and table for same, via American Express. This is intended to be erected in the Library at the Laboratory. We write this to ask that you will have these properly located before Mr. Edison returns. This is intended as a Christmas Present to him, and we trust that you will arrange to have it put up in good shape forthwith." Yours very truly, Samuel Insull "P.S. We have to day written Mr. Wurth enclosing sketch showing how these tube samples are to be placed."
