- Editor's Notes
- "Mr Fry, the New York Superintendent of the Pullman Palace car Co., is abou tto contract for a number of electrical plants for train lighting and has expressed a great desire to meet you. I have no doubt that the moral effect of such a visit would enable us to secure these contracts and make a good opening in an application of electric lighting in which heretofore there has been but little done by this Company. With your kind permission I will bring Mr Fry and Mr. Brotherhood (of the Brotherhood engine) out to Lewellyn some afternoon this week to see you." Very truly yours, Alexander Thompson [Marginalia: "OK" "All Right"]
