- "I now enclose you herewith a certified copy of the mortgage from the [unclear] to trustee RW Richardson for the #1100.00 of bonds it took longer to copy + I [unclear] copied than anticipated. Its provisions are [unclear] very distinct + clear. The company is incorporated under the general laws of the state of New York I [unclear] you easily obtain a copy of the charter. ### [unclear] one that his bonds [unclear] was stuck at [unclear] for want of this US [unclear] certificate previously. The vice counsel at [unclear] port 12 miles past here was in town yesterday and I made the necessary arrangements to leave them formatted.
