- "I would be much obliged if you would instruct Mr. Insull to close up the matter of the Edison Colonial dividends [unclear] late firm which Drexel Morgan + Co. [unclear] on the loan made for yr to the Edison Machine Works. Mr. Insull has repealed by promised that he would send me the Machine Work, notes for the balance due, fixing [unclear] dates, we last [unclear] being used last February. Since then I have heard nothing from him + my letters are left unanswered. I wrote you on April 9 on this subject but I suppose the letter [unclear] have miscarried. ### Please let me have an early reply + I believe."
