"I have noticed your add in the Bear City Times to owners of Mines--but did not know pruther[?] the add [unclear] Born bids or not. Did not yours but what yr Edison might have [unclear] for appearance sake an dto take up [unclear] so I thought I would write to your and find out. Will I [unclear] a tunnel [unclear] twenty miles of Hot Springs Sixty five feet deep and mineral--Sand Caronates--that assayed by three different parties form sixty dollars per ton up to eightfour--gold and silver and an endless quantity of it; and if you wish it I will furnish you one hundred tons at forty dollars per ton--loaded on cars at the Hot Springs depot or thirty [unclear] ton at the mine--Morgan Road to it. Completed, [unclear]--if your answer to this is favorable I will send sample to [unclear] and if satisfactory can furnish at that notice. ### Let me hear from you at your earliest convenience."
