Title
[D8847AAC], Letter from Clarence J Blake to Thomas Alva Edison, January 17th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I am very sorry that you could not come to Boston for the Merchants Club dinner. You would have enjoyed the occasion I am sure after all and I for one should have been very glad to have seen you and have had a phonograph talk with you. ### I earnestly hope by the way that you will put a speedy stop to any encroachments by Mr. Bell or anybody else on a field which is peculiarly your own."
