[D8847AAK], Letter from Samuel Insull, Edison Machine Works to Thomas Alva Edison, May 25th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have a lot of Mica, about the size, and quality, of the sample I enclose you herewith. ### Have you any use for this in connection with Phonograph work? If so I can sell it to you at Six (6) cents per lb. It cost us two or three times this amount, but we have never been able to use it, and I am therefore anxious to get rid of it." [TAE marginalia: "I will take 1000 lbs about Sept. 1st for Phonograph Works]"
