Title
[D8848AAZ], Letter from Ezra Torrance Gilliland to Thomas Alva Edison, April 16th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Toppan has told me about the exhibition to the Press that you propose to give at the Laboratory. Please put it off for a few days until keller gets out some of the perfect machines and we get our figuring finished, so that we will know the selling price to the public. We have got it nearly finished up and I will be out to see you just as soon as it is completed. ### I have not brought a Phonograph to the office: I have one at my house, where I take the agents in the evening to show it to them. It is working first-class." Yours truly, E.T. Gilliland [Marginalia: "OK. Let me know when you think it should come off. E." "phono quantities"
