"Mr. Lathrop tells me that there is some [unclear] for Phono. [unclear] Bortan that he told this to you + that you said had some deal on hand + that Lathrop should see me. ### I have told Lathrop that I would have no definitate word until Tuesday + that I do not think it wise to tell him what I had on hand. ### Personally I think the offer I made you will go through + that it would be [unclear] by any further sales of stock + that it would not be wise to attempt to sell before Tuesday. ### I had this am a little which confirms me in my opinion. But of all this you must prove. As you are the one most [unclear]. I do not tell Lathrop what I have on hand as I have [unclear] asked to treat in are confidential + as a matter of policy the whole plan would be defeated by its being known--I do not tell Mr. Lathrop.
