Title
[D8848ACA], Letter from Ezra Torrance Gilliland to Thomas Alva Edison, June 12th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I enclose herewith a letter from D.H. Fitch in regard to his battery. As the question of batter is certainly an important one to us, and as Fitch has had so much experience, would it not be well to give him the data which he asks for in regard to our motor. He has said that he would then design a form of battery having proportions suited to our requirements. ### If you will take the trouble to read his letter, you will see that he is well posted in battery's." Yours truly, E.T. Gilliland [Marginalia:"Tell him want 2 1/2 volts 2 amperes." E
