- "In consideration of your giving me a bond of indemnity (the delivery of which is hereby acknowledged), and of your hereafter giving me your testimony by affidavit or orally when requested as to do, as to the facts attending the negotiations of the sale to you by Gilliland and Tomlinson, as my agents of the stock in the Edison Phonograph Co. and of their sale to you of the Gilliland Agency Contract dated Oct 28, 1887, in any suit I may bring against them, I hereby agree that I will not bring such suit until after the lapse of six months from the date hereof."
