- Editor's Notes
- "Mr. Bush asked me this morning to put into Mr. Edison's letter to you accompanying the bond for your to sign that the suit when brought should not attack your title to the Gilliland Contract of Agency. Inasmuch as the praseology of the bond excludes such an attack, the suit being one for an accounting, it seems needless to insert that provision. Can we in the same suit both ask for the proceeds of a sale and ask to have the thing sold handed back? ### I hope both you and Mr. Bush will find it agreeable to accept the letter as it is written. ### Will you please send me a copy of the Gilliland Agreement to pay $150,000. which you are about to execute and a copy of the notes." Very truly yours, (signed) S.B. Eaton
