- Editor's Notes
- "The Attorneys who are going over the papers in connection with the Metropolitan and New England Companies say that they must see the "Toy Contract" as some one in Boston has started the story that we cannot handle special extras such as [dolls?], Music etc etc. I understood Mr. Tate to say over the telephone that your copy of the contract is locked up in Tomlinson's safe, if therefore there is no chance to get a copy of it here won't you give the bearer Mr. Wolcott a letter to the Boston party asking him to have a copy made and certified to tomorrow and give it to Mr. Wolcott. ### This is necessary in order to secure the payment on the 10th. ### Mr. Wolcott will go on the 11:30 train tonight to Boston and return here Wednesday A.M. ### Can you in a few words give me the main features of the contract by bearer."
