- Title
- [D8849AAF], Letter from George Edward Gouraud to Alfred Ord Tate, February 20th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "With reference to the French telephone patent No. 124974, -- I do not want to trouble you with a translation of it--merely a copy of it is all I require, and will save me two or three pounds and cost you nothing. There is no hurry about it. ### In writing from time to time, I would be glad if you would throw in a P.S. how everything is progressing with the phonograph. Mr. Edison's business correspondence is of necessity so very meager that I am glad to have a line now and then from one so near the throne as you are." Faithfully, yours, G.E. Gouraud
