Title
[D8853ACC], Letter from William S Logue to Alfred Ord Tate, March 27th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"In my order of a few days ago for a full Sat of Phono inst to be shipped to W.F. Taylor Altoona Pa. I am under the impression that I failed to order Battery and Battery fluid if so please add to order. ### 1 [unclear] Battery complete ### 1 Carboy of Electropower. ### This is for the Pittsburg Div to be placed in one of the Altoona offices. ### Mr. Scheaffer [unclear] of the Pittsburg Div is pushing me very hard and it is very necessary that I got the instruments as early as possible. ### I telegraph him today in reply to a question from him that I would put it up late part of this week if instruments arrive I will be able to keep my word. ### Bergmann + Co is sending out old insturments very poorly done over and there is no trouble experienced in seeing that they are old, all of the ink spots have not been removed + unpolished spots show on the brass work. The PRR people kick about this. ### I have not as yet need the balance of the instruments for circuit in hand."
