Title
[D8853AED], Letter from William S Logue to Alfred Ord Tate, September 2nd, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Your favor of Aug 30th in reference to the Chomic Acid battery received. If this battery does not lacstvery much longer than the Bunsen don't you think our patrons will object to the extra trouble of having two different solutionsone for inside and one for the outside. I take it from your letter that we are to still use the same form of battery that we are now using. I am under the impression that the way station men will not Amalgamate the zincs properly. However when I go to Altoona I will get Mr. Taylor to give the battery a trial and keep us advised as to its working. HE has everything on hand I think but the chromic acid. ### Until we give it a trial and get to me ones News as to the choice between the two had me not better continue the use of the Bunsen I hope to get through with the B + Co circuit on Wednesday or Thursday and will go to Altoona with the contracts and endeavor to get them signed at once." Yours very truly, W.S. Logue [Marginalia: "Ans Sep 5/88"]
