- Editor's Notes
- [New Name Mention: George Evans] "Mr. Evans, of the North Am. Phono. Co., wants to send a battery out here for you to test. He states that it will run the phonograph for thirty days without renewal. ### This battery question is a very important one in connection with Phonoplex. The West Shore people tell me that if we had a battery that would last for any length of time they could use three Phonoplex circuits. They object to the Bunsen cells on account of their short life and the trouble which they constantly cause by playing out. They say they cannot use the system unless we can furnish some reliable battery. Perhaps it would be worth your while to make a test of the cells which Mr. Evans wishes to send here." A.O. Tate
