Title
[D8854AAH], Letter from P K Pattison to Thomas Alva Edison, April 9th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"The letter enclosed will recall a letter of mine stating that I was attempting to propose an Experimental lecture on the "Evolution of the Telephone" and also requesting you to kindly "sell loan or give" me one of your [unclear] telephones. Perhaps at this date my request can be granted--Will you please write? ### Prof. A.E. Dolbear sent me one of his static secures, and while it speaks with great distincture [?] its tone is not loud enough for the purpose of a public lecture. Therefore I am very anxious for a trial of yours." Very respectfully yours, P.K. Pattison [TAE marginalia: "No yet"]
