Title
[D8855AAM], Letter from Charles H Davids to Thomas Alva Edison, March 16th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Very much ot my regret, the culmination of certain business matters previously mentioned to Mr. Batchelor necessitate my immediate resignation as Superintendent of the Mechanical Department of your laboratory. I fully appreciate your uniform kindness, and also that of Mr. Batchelor, Mr. Gilliland and others of your associates toward me while in your service and sincerely trust that you may readily find someone who can fill with ability the position I am about to vacate. ### I would gladly give you longer notice of my intenced resignation, but cannot well do so, and hope you will be able to accept it immediately." Yours very truly, Chas H. Daniels
