Title
[D8856AAX], Letter from American Watchman's Time Detector, J S Morse to Thomas Alva Edison, January 13th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"We shipped, from the factory, on the 5th inst., the time detectors and you will please notice that it closes with a Yale lock as you wrote us you desired it to do. The push buttons were sent you some days earlier. Should you desire, one of our men can come out and connect up the instrument. We enclose bill and if you care to send us check now, please deduct 1 per cent from the fact of the bill. We do this as we are anxious to close up the business of '87 to January 1st." Yours truly, J.S. Morse, Supt. [Marginalia: "Mr. Batchelor, Do you want this man to come out? A.O.T." "No B"]
