- "With reference to your communication and the attached statement I would advise Mr. Edison to keep these instruments especially as they are not very expensive. The voltmeters are good, and the wheatstone bridge though not very accurate as they themselves admit is convenient for carrying about and can be used with a telephone in place of galvanometer so that it will very likely be useful if not in the galvanometer room itself."
