Title
[D8901AAN], Letter from Edison Machine Works, James F Kelly to Alfred Ord Tate, December 4th, 1889
Editor's Notes
I have been to see the E.D. Greely Co. with re to the order I placed with them for 4 Robert-Breevort Batteries. When I placed the order they advised me that the batteries were ready for immediate shipment. They say that they believe that the batteries have been shipped from the Robert-Breevort Factory in Connecticut, but as they have not yet been received I have instructed them to send tracer after them immediately. This has been done and I have no doubt but that you will hear from the batteries within a day or two. I have been unable to find the Mason-Wood battery. It was made some time ago in Brooklyn, but it appears to have disappeared. There would seem to be none of the Marie-Davies Batteries in this country. J.W. Green of Philadelphia may possibly have a few of them, and if it be absolutely necessary for you to have them, I shall communicate with them.
