- We are glad to acknowledge receipt of your telegram of even date re the name of the England Company. We do not think it advisable nor at all necessary for our limited business over there to use the name adopted by our agencies. As before written it was done by them without our knowledge or consent, and we have this day cabled them to remove your name at once from the Company. We would gladly have cabled several days ago if our letter pertaining to this subject had been answered by wire on the 21st inst, as we requested.
