Editor's Notes: Re Smead Galvanic Belt. Referring to Tate's letter of yesterday, enclosing Smead's letter to you of the 8th inst, I beg to say that I wrote F.J. Smead & Co on the 12th inst notifying them that legal proceedings would be commenced unless they stopped the illegal use of the name of Edison. I will follow this matter up and notify you of the result.
