Title
[D8905ACL], Letter from Charles Ainsworth Spofford to Samuel Insull, March 29th, 1889
Editor's Notes
New York Mch 29 1889 Dear Mr. Insull The $10 for car for freight train brakes, it seems, is not a royalty payable for year or otherwise, but a fixed charge for attaching the brake to the car. In other words, the brakes Co. furnish the R.R. Co. brakes at a cost of $40 per car, and charge $10 more for placing the brake in place. Yours C A Spofford
