- Editor's Notes
- [Aus May 18/89] My dear MrEdison, I hear that you are coming to England in June and I write to offer you such modest hospitality as my home at Bromley would affrd for either the whole or a portion of the time of your stay here, as might suit your convenience & be agreeable to you. Of course, if [Mrs?] Edison is with you this invitation is intended to include her also. ##It is perhaps necesSARY to tell you that we live in a very quiet--way but in a pleasant part of the country about 10 miles south of London.##I need hardly say that your visit would give us very great poleasure. Believe me very truly yours##J.W Swan
