- Editor's Notes
- I find that the wages in Berlin, and other parts of Germany are somewhat higher than those I sent you as oming from hamburg. At present I havve not found any more factory buildings suitable but plenty of land to build upon. The plans and cost of buildings are not ready for this mail. ## I am getting rough sketches and cost of erection, so as to give you some idea of the probable cost of the following buildings ## One Story building--floor space 1500 sq meters ##two one story bldgs 5000; three story 6500 Mr. D. [Sevran Dupt?] of the Ball Telephone Mfg. Co here, has gone to the States on a visit, He is anxious to see your laboratory &c. I have given him a letter to you, as you will be interested to hear what he has to say in regard tot ht elabor question here, and general factory work. He is not on good terms with "Gilliland" but is well acquanited with his history.
