I beg leave to advise you that I shall sail from Valparaiso inside ten days from date to meet you, if possible, in London, with the object of concluding the Phonograph business for Chile, I also for the purpose of organizing a co in England for lighting Santiago & Valparaiso. I have the best of references & looking, here & there, & am sure that now is the proper time to do the work. I should be obliged if you would advise Mssrs Matthews, Richards & Co, Birmingham, as to when I can see you in London or Birmingham in Sept.
