Editor's Notes
My dear Edison May I ask you while you are in Paris to speak to Cuttting about my getting an interest in the jersey & Pennsylvania Ore Milling Co--I need not tell you that no one is more pleased than myself at your magnificent reception on that side of the water--I knew what the feeling was there in regard to you & there is no one who knows better than I how well you deserve it. "Monsieur le Comple d'Edison" you have the heartfelt congratulations of yours very truly "Batch"
