- Ans Sept 27/89 Milan, O. Sept 21/89 Mr. Thos A Edison New York City, N.Y Dear Sir-- It is my duty as pastor of the Presbyterian flock of this place to say to you, the subscription, which you kindly made May 22/88 of two hundred & fifty (250=) towards the erection of a new church edifice, to replace the one destroyed by fire month & year first above, may be paid to me at your conveniencec. The work is well under way and as all the financial labors have fallen into my hands it is my privilege to know just how necessary funds are, and therefor how very acceptable every ashed promise becomes. Very Respectfully, Luther M. Kumler
