Edison Esq.To Sir John Pender K.Call G Foots Cray Kent Dear Sir, If, before your departure for America, you could find time, with Mrs. Edison and party, to favor us with a visit at our Works at Woolwich we should esteem if a great favor, and Mr. Alexander Siemens or our manager, Mr. Kaiser, would haver great pleasure in accompanying you and showing you the various departments. We may add that we are at present engaged in making submarine cable for America + coiling it into our Cable Steamer Faraday, which is moored off our Works. We are dear Sir, Yours faithfully E.
