- Editor's Notes
- I hope to be in New York on the 10th of November, leaving Paris by the Bourgogne on the 2nd. ## I am very happy to have so soon the pleasure to see you again, this time in your own country--the very place for electric appliances of all kinds--It would be much easier for me to write you on a phonograph, ao account of the spelling--I am afraid it will be of great use for ignorant people and lead to the closing of schools. ## We hear perpertually of the success of the instrument in Germany. I hope we shall soon be able to use it in our country. ## I have seen London & [verily?] last week about their stations in London, they speak of taking [Meyer Tifle?] expansion engines. ## Because my tad writing and hoping to find you and Mrs. Edison in good health Believe me your's very sincerely Am Vernes [PS]Nothing decided yet about the decorations.
