- The Morris European and American Express CO [scribbled note: check $800 sent Dec 20 89] Dear Sir In reply to your favor of yesterday, we CAN enter the statue received by steamer "Normandie" on a PROFORMA INVOICE, givving as the value, the PRICE stated in cablegram, minus FREIGHTto havre. If you wish us to do so, we have to give a bond for the priduction of CONSULAR INVOICE, bugt we do not doubt, your agent, knowing the importance of its being procured, will ATTEND to it.
