Title
[D8912AAF], Letter from New England Society of Orange, James S Cox to Thomas Alva Edison, March 27th, 1889
Editor's Notes
You are an honored member of the New England Society of Orange and happen to be chairman of the Lecture Committee of the same. It has been suggested to us that James Ricalton now or lately in your employ, could give us a very entertaining talk about his recent travels about the world, without in the least, trespassing on forbidden ground. The present individuals of his journey [---] and observation of the nationals of the different countries [------] leave [------] [------] me for [----] dozen [--------] instead of once. With your permission therefore; we propose to invite him to give us a talk, [---] at the next meeting of the society which should take on Saturday the 13th of April [-----]. # If you are willing to encourage the prospect, will you kindly let me know where Ricalton can most conveniently be seen -- either in Orange or in New York, and also give me his present P.O. address.
