- Editor's Notes
- I went over to the Laboratory the other day and was disappointed not to see you. I have succeeded in tracking down one of the false rumors which has been circulating in NY and I am now waiting to hear from you the name of the other party who started the second rumor. The whole thing exists in a clique which has been jealous of my success in connection with phonograph matters. I was surprised upon reaching NY to learn that Toppan and Keller had left the works. I have no comments to make on that. I am in thorough sympathy with the Edison interests and will do all in my power to further them to the best of my ability.
