- Title
- [D8920AAO], Letter from George D Dickson to Alfred Ord Tate, May 6th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "I have yours of the 2nd inst. I can readily understand why you delayed answering, you should have an Assistant Secretary. I met Pierce on the street today and advised him of the contents and as I promised him have sent him a copy of that portion of your letter relating to iron. # I observe that the Edison Electric Light Co or someone assuming to have control is proposing putting in a plant to light our City. If they come I assume they will require some heavy law light. If you can shunt it anyway, do an oblige."
