- Editor's Notes
- TAE marginalia: 10 pct of wood if baked very slowly up to a red heat should work. Would you please inform me how I can burn purlverized coke into blocks, say 2.5 by 6 inches. I have mixed coke with wood tar(?) and tried a number of ways and times, and have failed each time. It in no way conflicts with any of your inventions, I failed in the iron business a few years ago, and I have a family to support. By giving me the above information you may be the means of helping a fallen man along.
