- We have your favor of the 5th. Inst., and have wired you to-day that the compound #420 is very good indeed. When hot it becomes liquid enough hot penetrate the cotton thoroughly, and the only thing that we could desire is that its non-inflammability be slightly increased, if this is at all possible. We should like to get from you a lot of about 300 lbs. just as soon as we possibly can in order that we can make a regular manufacturing trail in the apparatus which we have here. Please advise us about how soon you could ship us this amount, and oblige,
