Editor's Notes
New York, March 21st. 1889.####My dear Mr. Tate:--####I enclose herewith a declaration which it is necessary for Mr. Edison to make before a Notary Public in view of the fact that the patents taken out in the Argentine Republic appear in Mr. Edison’s name and the local Company just formed in Buenos Ayres requires some legal evidence of Mr. Edison’s Assignment to us. May I trouble you to have this executed by Mr. Edison in the presence of a Notary and return to me not later than tomorrow night.####F.S Hastings####Secty & Treas.####To A.O. Tate. Esq. Private Secretary.####Edison’s Laboratory,####Orange, N.J####[name mentions: A.O. Tate, Thos Edison, F.S. Hastings]
