- Blue print returned to King March 7/1890 M.####My dear Sir,####I beg to enclose for Mr. Edison's inspection & probable acceptance, sketch of a coupling box arranged in a new manner. As you are aware the present style is to fill the enture box with compound & when necessary to open it, there results a tedious job melting the compound with a blow lamp, not to speak of the dirty condition of all the couplings inside. Cummings & I have worked up this between us. Let me hear from you soon, if there is anything in it
