- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead of Hotel Brighton, Atlantic City] Regret I didn't see you in New York; the day I was going to come to the lab I was engaged in phonograph deal and could not leave; happy to say the deal closed satisfactorily.###In Oct. or Nov. Crawford and I made informal contract with Jacques and Briggs for phonograph doll for France; understand from them that they have turned over the foreign business to Madden & Gilliland; I regard doll business as very valuable and Crawford & I have only been waiting for a doll to start the company; very important for me to know if the Jacques & Briggs contract is no good; can you inform me?###Been a little rundown, came to Atlantic City with family to mend; if you're still "under the weather," AC is the place to mend.
