- Editor's Notes
- As a favor to Col Gouraud I brought with me upon the S.S. Umbria a box containing phonograms which Col Gouraud was anxious ou should receive upon New Year's morning. Not finding anyone at the Cunard Wharf upon my arrival to take charge of the box, I left it in charge of Capt Watson the Wharfringer telegraphing you accordingly and sending the key by mail. I have never hyeard whether you received the box or not and as it iwas evidently quite important, will you kindly drop me a line as to whether you have received the same or not. If you have not you can do so by applying at the wharf.
