Editor's Notes
Tell Gouraud following: Insull saw Seligman, instrusted by Edison in May. Insull refused Seligman’s request to make proposal. Moriarty’s statement absolutely false. Seligmans here disclaim threats. Edison wants Gouraud push sale or threats. Insull saw Seligmans today and referred to Gouraud. Edison took responsibility giving Connery two months extension, which we think ensures strong Co. with monopoly franchise, directly Mexican Senate meets. Ask Gouraud confirm extension. Many North Amn. Phono Co. licenses refusing graphone, preferring Phonograph. Your course with relation to Seligmans correct. Gilliland, Tomilson and Tappan sailed Saturday. Possible with realtion to Graphone. Watch them. Insull’s father will help. Hurry credit New York for thouand machines. Advise me what you have done in regard to other parties.
