Title
[D8961ABB], Letter from Thomas Bernardr Connery to Thomas Alva Edison, December 25th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Dear mr Edison I enclose herewith part of a letter rom Ceballos & Co received by me today. You will notice what he states abt. An interview with you. I am afraid I have no "influence" at present with the Edison administration, but I feel bound to second Mr Ceballow sishes as to an interview. He is a very busy man like yourself, but is willing to go to you any day you may fix, laying aside all his other engagements. I have told him that in consequence of your absence not doubt many letters, in your voluminous correspondence, must have been overlooked.##I saw Gouruad for a few moments yesterday and he told me about the important negotiations looking to the removal of the graphophone competition. I am afraid there is going to be some further dleay which may very seriously affect our Mexican interest.##A Merry Xmas to you and yours and may you never die, at least until we can be assured of flying. Yours faithfully Thomas B. Connery
