- Editor's Notes
- My dear Tate: It is very important that I should rececive at the earliest possible moment all correspondence that has taken place between Mr. Edison and Mr. J.H. Puleston of London. The correspondence probably occurred somewhere in 1884, 1885 or 1886. I require this in connection with some claims that Mr. Puleston has made on Mr. Edison with relation to the old automatic telegraph business. I want not only letters received from Mr. Puleston but alas those addressed to him. Will you please have this hunted up as quickly as possible and send the letters to me at Dey Street. This is not a matter which will allow of delay is it is possibly that Mr. Puleston may start suit against Mr. Edison. Yours very truly, Saml Insull
