Title
[D8968AAT], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, December 6th, 1889
Editor's Notes
New York, Dec. 6th, 188 A.O. Tate Esq., Edison's Laboratory, Orange, New Jersey, Dear Sir:-- If I remember rightly, just prior to your leaving for Europe, you wrote up a memorandum with relation to certain experimental accounts of Mr. Edison's against the Edison Electric Light Company. I would like you to get out a statement of such accounts as you have on your books, which are charged to the Edison Light Co., together with a memorandum in explanation of same. I will then go over them with you and we will arrange for their presentation to the Light Co's Executive Committee with a view to obtain a settlement.##I understand that the Light Company has a counter account against Mr. Edison of about $1,000. Yours truly, Sam Insull
