April 6th 1892 Mr. T.A. Edison Menlo Park, N.J. Dear Sir, I trust you will excuse the liberty which I take in writing you and asking a favor which I will consider very much a compliment if granted but as an old acquaintance and school mate. I take this liberty. I am using three of your wonderful inventions the cabinet phonos. which I rented of the agts at Detroit. I would like very much to have a cabinet photo of yourself to exhibit to my friends with the Phonos. I wrote to [illegible] for one and not having one to spare advised me to write you. Your old friend Bert Buchanan is here as also friends once Mr. Buchanan and all wished me to remember them to you, so more may a good laugh over the boy, capers unplayed at the Emple schools Yours Respectfully T.H.
